While there are many in the independent filmmaking community who choose to explore the alluring worlds of abstract expression, these “worlds” are often explored at the expense of cinema’s most basic element in movie making:    The story.
TORONTO’S INDEPENDENT SHORT FILM STORIES  is an event that brings the original works of Toronto filmmakers to the big screen in a classic-style theatrical showcase. The showcase will present an entertaining variety of short motion pictures that all share one common element: they all tell a story. With content that ranges from drama to docu-comedy, Eastern to Western, and tragedy to redemption, there is sure to be a little something for everyone.
